Overview
From pest control operator to Trained Professional
The 88 hours of the A.N.I.D. course cover the technical, scientific, regulatory and operational aspects of the modern Trained Professional. A.N.I.D. training schemes have become the model for all professional roles in pest management and are open to member and non-member companies, as well as public and private users.
Topics include:
Basics of entomology
Advanced pest control techniques
Disinfection
Regulations
BRC/IFS food standards
Biocide and waste management
Workplace safety (Legislative Decree 81/08)
Hands-on practical sessions using devices and equipment
Recognition and certification
The course is designed in accordance with the voluntary standard UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17024 and prepares participants for voluntary skills certification, issued by the third-party body CEPAS after an exam.
The exam is open to those who have completed the 88 hours. Those who meet the requirements of art. 2, paragraph 3, letters C and D of Ministerial Decree 274/97 have direct access.
A.N.I.D. offers documented training that certifies professional competence.

Second half of 2026
The 88-hour course starts on 6 October. The dates of each module are in the PDF calendar; for information and registration, write to anid@disinfestazione.org.
A.N.I.D. 88-hour course for Pest Control Operators
Certified quality. 22 modules totalling 88 hours: 16 online modules (64 hours) and 6 in-person modules (24 hours).
Members: € 1,250.00 + VAT
Non-members: € 1,450.00 + VAT
The fee includes: training, course materials, written test and final oral exam, 88h certificate upon passing the exam.
Individual modules chosen by the company
Modules 1 to 16 can be chosen, on the days and at the times indicated. Each module ends with a written test.
Members: € 200.00 + VAT per module
Non-members: € 300.00 + VAT per module
The fee includes: online training, slides, final test, certificate of training.
Upgrade and renewal of the 88h certificate (from 40, 60 or 80 hours)
Choose the modules from 1 to 16 needed to bring your certificate up to 88 hours, renewal included. Each module has a written test.
Members: € 100.00 + VAT per module
Non-members: € 180.00 + VAT per module
The fee includes: training, slides, test, 88h certificate.
Renewal of an expired or expiring 88h certificate
Attend 2 four-hour modules of your choice (nos. 1–16), each with a written test.
Members: € 100.00 + VAT per module
Non-members: € 180.00 + VAT per module
The fee includes: 8 hours of training, slides, test, 88h certificate.
Application for admission to the CEPAS exam
Skills certification. Open to Technical Managers meeting the requirements of Ministerial Decree 274/97 and to Professional Users who have completed compulsory schooling and attended the 88-hour course. The certification scheme can be requested from the secretariat.

Refresher course for annual CEPAS certification maintenance
For professionals who are already certified and for Technical Managers.
Members: € 300.00 + VAT
Non-members: € 450.00 + VAT
The fee includes: training, course materials, certificate of training.
Full 88h course for Pest Control operators, with exam
22 modules: 64 hours online (16 four-hour sessions, weekly) with a test after each module, 24 hours (3 days) of in-person practice in Bologna and 4 hours (half a day) for the final exam.
Members: € 1,200.00 + VAT
Non-members: € 1,400.00 + VAT
The fee includes: training, course materials, end-of-module tests, A.N.I.D. certificate after the exam.

Ideal for those who want to enter Pest Management: it provides the theoretical and practical basics.

UNI ISO 21001:2019 certified training
The quality of A.N.I.D. training is also certified under ISO 21001, a common management tool for organisations providing educational services.
